Adult Services Area Manager



We are looking for an Adult Services Area Manager to cover the South Yorkshire area.<br><br>The salary is £35,000 to £38,000.<br><br>This is an exciting opportunity to join a national provider of care to adults with Learning Disabilities. As an experienced Adult Residential Manager you must have experience in managing a home that has service users with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviour. A minimum requirement for the role is that you must hold an NVQ Level 4 & also be prepared to take your Registered Manager’s Award within the first 6 months of employment. This is a great opportunity to gain extra qualifications and take your managerial career to the next level. Although the job is mainly based around office hours the successful candidate will need a driving licence & use of your own vehicle as there will be the requirement for you to be on call. At least two years proven residential management experience is essential. A minimum of three years practical experience of working with and on behalf of people with learning disabilities and complex behaviours is essential. A professional qualification in Health (RNMH), Education or Social Work (Dip. SW) is desirable, as is NVQ Level 4 in Care Management.
